Garden Room at Samlesbury Hall in Preston is recruiting an Apprentice Commis Chef to train towards and complete a Level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship over 16 months. The role involves preparing, cooking and serving fresh food in a busy café/restaurant environment, supporting events in the Main Hall, carrying out stock takes and receiving orders, and working alongside the head chef to produce food to a high standard.
This is an on-site apprenticeship based at Samlesbury Hall (PR5 0UP). Working hours are rota-based, typically Tuesday-Sunday 9:00-16:00 with a 30 minute break, amounting to around 30-40 hours per week and working 5 out of 6 days.
The employer notes public transport links and potential lifts from nearby areas; a driving licence is desirable but not required.
