As an Apprentice Commis Chef at Sodexo based at Nuffield Health, The Manor Hospital in Oxford, you will support the ward and kitchen to prepare, cook and present food for patients and staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The role follows agreed recipes and Sodexo/client standards and requires adherence to company and legal food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

Core duties include preparing, cooking and presenting food, ensuring timely service to patients, recording food wastage, catering for special dietary requirements and maintaining a clean, tidy and efficient kitchen and restaurant environment. The role provides a supportive team environment with full training, protective uniform and practical on-the-job experience.

The position offers competitive pay at £7. 55 per hour, one free drink and one free meal per shift, and a range of employee benefits including mental health resources, access to a virtual GP, an Employee Assistance Programme, discounts and a retirement savings plan.
