Apprentice Counter Salesperson

Turnbull & Co Ltd in Lincoln is offering a work-based Level 2 apprenticeship as an Apprentice Counter Salesperson. You will work on the trade counter at Turnbull's builders' merchant, selling products to trade and public customers, building long-term relationships, processing orders and promoting products and services.

The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training and time with the training provider (Travis Perkins PLC). Training is delivered virtually with an observational end-point assessment. Qualifications awarded include an Apprenticeship award certificate in the Trade Supplier Standard (Level 2), and functional skills in maths and English if required.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:00pm with one in three Saturdays 7:30am-12:30pm (44 hours 10 minutes a week).

Wage for the first year is listed as £17,341. 14 (may increase depending on age) and there is a bonus scheme. The apprenticeship starts Monday 1 December 2025, runs for one year and there is one position available.
