Apprentice Dental Nurse - The Dental Design Studio

This is an 18-month Level 3 apprenticeship in dental nursing combining on-the-job experience at The Dental Design Studio with accredited training (Dental nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3). Day-to-day duties include chair-side support for clinicians, sterilising and preparing equipment, reception work (answering phones, taking payments, booking appointments), managing patient records, stock management and supporting patient wellbeing.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm) based at 6 Carre Street, Sleaford NG34 7TW. Training is delivered by TEMP DENT DENTAL AGENCY LIMITED and includes time away from the workplace for specialist training, blended e-learning delivery, and assessment.

On completion apprentices receive a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 and, unless exempt, Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths.

Requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4 desirable), immunisation against Hepatitis B, and a satisfactory DBS check. With experience and further training, progression options include roles such as team leader, practice manager, dental therapist or hygienist.
