Apprentice Early Years Educator - Cherryli Nursery SE4 1QG

Cherryli Nursery is recruiting an Apprentice Early Years Educator based at 40 Tyrwhitt Road, Brockley, London SE4 1QG. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job work with off-the-job training delivered by Eden Training Solutions Limited to achieve an Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.

Day-to-day duties include planning and delivering structured activities linked to children’s IEPs, recording observations and progress, supporting communication and behaviour, maintaining safeguarding and health & safety practices, and working closely with parents and colleagues.

The role is full-time (37 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday-Friday, shifts to be confirmed). Start date is Monday 1 December 2025 and the apprenticeship lasts approximately 1 year 4 months. The advertised wage is £14,722.

50 for the first year (apprentice rate), with potential increases depending on age and successful probation. Training includes specialist time away from the workplace covering child development, safeguarding, SEND/EAL support, risk assessment, and professional practice.

Applicants should ideally hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years and have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C / 4+ (or equivalents) where possible. There is opportunity for ongoing employment for the successful candidate.
