This is a paid Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship based at Tina's Tots nursery in Rothwell, Leeds (LS26 0DB). The role is mainly workplace-based learning where you'll work closely with children aged 0-5 to meet their daily needs (feeding, nappy changing, toileting), plan age-appropriate play and learning, observe and record development, act as a key person for allocated children and work with parents/carers.
Training is provided by Eden Training Solutions Limited and includes time off the job and a paediatric first aid qualification.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm (30 hours per week; option to pick up extra hours up to 40). The apprenticeship starts on 3 December 2025, runs for 1 year 4 months and has 2 positions available.
Successful candidates may be offered ongoing employment after completing the qualification. The role requires adherence to safeguarding, health & safety and confidentiality policies.

- Desirable: GCSE English (grade C or 4+) or equivalent
- Desirable: GCSE Maths (grade C or 4+) or equivalent
- Desirable: Early Years Practitioner Level 2 (grade Pass)
- Must pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Comfortable working with children in a busy environment and following policies/procedures
£11,778 per year
£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices. Option to pick up extra hours up to 40hrs max. Pay can be negotiated after a short probationary period.
