This is a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship based at The Nursery School in Patcham, Brighton. As an Apprentice Educator you will work as part of the nursery team to provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment for children including supporting care, learning and development for children from birth to five.
Daily tasks include planning and preparing activities, supporting children with additional needs, supervising mealtimes, recording observations and assessments, and promoting inclusion and positive behaviour.
The apprenticeship is primarily on-the-job learning (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday) combined with off-the-job training delivered by the training provider Realise Learning and Employment Limited. The programme includes the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator, the apprenticeship standard’s Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours, first aid certification, and Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English if required.
