Apprentice Gym Instructor & Personal Trainer (ClubAZ Ltd)

Join ClubAZ as an Apprentice Gym Instructor & Personal Trainer based at the AstraZeneca Macclesfield campus. You will work alongside experienced fitness professionals to learn exercise instruction, client engagement and fitness programme development while studying towards a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training.

The role combines on-the-job learning with off-the-job training and an end-point assessment.

Key duties include assisting with group fitness classes, supporting individual training sessions, maintaining equipment and facility safety, completing assessments and coursework, and providing excellent customer service to members. The apprenticeship is 30 hours per week, starts on 2 January 2026, runs for 1 year and offers an apprentice wage of £11,778 for the first year.

Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or equivalent and being physically fit. Training is delivered with C. M.

S. VOCATIONAL TRAINING LIMITED and includes Level 2 Functional Skills (if required), off-the-job study and on-the-job assessment. Successful apprentices may progress to a permanent Level 3 Personal Trainer position.
