This apprenticeship places you in a fresh bagel bar operation and also involves assisting with occasional functions at another nearby venue, giving insight and experience in two different hospitality retail environments. Day-to-day duties include making and serving barista-quality coffees and hot drinks, serving cakes, preparing bagels and sundries, maintaining good health and hygiene practices, delivering friendly customer service, and helping with preparations for functions and special events.

You will spend most of your time working on the job and will also have time away from work for specialist training. The training provider is UMBRELLA TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS LIMITED and the qualification is Hospitality manager (level 4).

The role is based at 77 Wellgate, Rotherham, S60 2LZ and is an in-person position.

The apprenticeship starts on 23 July 2026, runs for 1 year 6 months, and is advertised with 36 hours per week (hours listed as 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday). The wage is £17,000 per year and there is a pay review after 6 months.
