Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor - Automotive / Customer Service (DAF Trucks) - Leeds

Start your career in the automotive industry as an Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor at Ford & Slater's DAF Truck dealership in Leeds. This practical apprenticeship combines on-the-job training in a busy parts department with structured off-the-job learning, giving you hands-on experience in receiving and handling stock, processing orders and payments, using parts management systems, and supporting customer enquiries.

The apprenticeship includes an industry-recognised Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification delivered by SKILLNET LIMITED. Around 80% of your time is spent working at the dealership under a dedicated mentor and 20% on off-the-job study.

Off-the-job training includes six in-person training blocks at the DAF Apprentice Academy in Nottingham plus six to ten online sessions; all travel, accommodation and meals for in-person training are covered.

This role is full-time (40 hours/week; typically Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30) and starts on 1 December 2025. The programme lasts approximately 1 year 3 months and offers a first-year wage of £15,704 with potential increases according to age and minimum wage rules.

Essential qualifications: GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (or equivalent).
