Start your career in the automotive industry as an Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor with Ford & Slater at their King’s Lynn dealership. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training in a busy parts department with structured off-the-job study, leading to an industry-recognised Level 3 Customer Service Specialist qualification.
You will spend around 80% of your time working alongside experienced colleagues (Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:30, 40 hours per week) developing practical skills such as receiving and storing parts, processing orders and payments, using parts management systems, sourcing vehicle parts, and handling customer enquiries. Off-the-job training (20% of hours) includes six in-person training blocks at the DAF Apprentice Academy in Nottingham and six-ten online sessions.
Travel, accommodation and meals for in-person training are provided.
Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4. The apprenticeship is posted to start on 1 December 2025, runs for 1 year 3 months, and offers a first-year wage of £15,704 (apprentice rate). The training provider is SKILLNET LIMITED.
