BOC Ltd is recruiting an Apprentice Retail Assistant for their shop in Camborne (Trevenson Road, Pool, Redruth TR15 3PW). This is a permanent, full-time apprenticeship starting Monday 1 December 2025, paid at £18,000 per year.
The role is based in-store and involves day-to-day retail duties across a 37. 5 hour week (Monday-Friday, between 08:00 and 16:00).
On the job you'll develop practical retail skills including customer service, sales and stock management, merchandising, and safety compliance. The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training delivered by INSPIRO LEARNING LIMITED and leads to a Retailer (Level 2) qualification.
Typical tasks include assisting customers, identifying sales opportunities, maintaining stock and store presentation, using retail technology, and supporting colleagues.
Desirable entry qualifications are GCSEs in English and Maths (grades 9-4 / A*-C), though the apprenticeship can be tailored to reflect prior experience. There is one position available. Applications close on 21 November 2025; applicants sign in with GOV.
