Apprentice Services Assistant - FIGTREE HEALTHCARE LTD

This is a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship based in Widnes with FIGTREE HEALTHCARE LTD. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you will learn to dispense medication, handle over-the-counter sales, check and monitor prescription slips, rotate stock, use patient record systems and smart cards, perform data entry, label and dispense items, and liaise with doctors and other health professionals.

The role is full-time (37 hours 30 minutes per week) with shift patterns to be confirmed during interview.

Training is provided by CAVITY DENTAL TRAINING LIMITED and includes time away from the workplace for specialist training. The apprenticeship follows the Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 standard, includes in-house training and an End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Start date is Monday 24 November 2025 and the training duration is 1 year 3 months. Successful completion can lead to progression onto Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship or a permanent role with the employer.

Wage for the first year is stated as £14,722. 50 (apprentice rate), with potential increases depending on age and National Minimum Wage rules. Desirable qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4/C).
