Smiths Group is recruiting HR Apprentices to join their Group HR team in Birmingham, working across HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition, Reward and Global Mobility. Apprentices will complete 7-month rotations across three different HR teams and support activities such as recruitment administration, onboarding and inductions, right-to-work checks, employee relations support, salary benchmarking, data analysis, and coordination of global mobility tasks.

This is a workplace apprenticeship with formal training delivered by BPP Professional Education Limited toward the HR Support Level 3 qualification. The role is full-time (37 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed) and is based at 60 Church Street, Birmingham (B3 2DJ).

The apprenticeship starts on Monday 12 January 2026 and lasts 1 year 9 months. There are 3 positions available and the opportunity may lead to a permanent role on completion.
