Join Rushcliffe Borough Council as an Apprentice Technical Business Support Officer working with the Streetwise Team in Bingham. The role involves dealing with day-to-day enquiries from the public, town and parish councils and elected members; recording and maintaining data such as performance indicators, tipping data, tonnages and vehicle servicing records; keeping the website up to date; and using various ICT systems to ensure accuracy and reliable record keeping.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.
This is a work-based apprenticeship where most learning happens on the job, supplemented by off-the-job training delivered by ACCESS TRAINING (EAST MIDLANDS) LTD. Apprentices will study for the Business Administrator (Level 3) qualification, spending around 20% of their time on training activities.
Typical workplace hours are within 7am-3. 30pm Monday-Friday (example 7. 30-3.
30), 37 hours per week, with each day being 7. 5 hours and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
The apprenticeship starts on Monday 17 November 2025 and runs for 1 year 6 months. The workplace location is Moorbridge Industrial Estate, Bingham, Nottinghamshire, NG13 8GG.
