KPMG's Audit Apprenticeship in Newcastle is a five-year, full-time programme that combines on-the-job experience with professional training leading to AAT Level 3/4 and the ACA qualification (or CA equivalent in Scotland). Apprentices will support audit engagements across a range of clients, gaining practical auditing, accounting and commercial skills while working with experienced teams.
The programme is aimed at school leavers and applicants with GCSEs and A-level (or equivalent) qualifications. You will be involved in client-facing work, testing financial information, contributing to audit fieldwork and learning technical audit and accounting standards.
The role emphasises development, mentoring and progression through structured training and workplace assessments. Applicants are expected to meet the stated entry requirements and be prepared for a five-year commitment combining workplace responsibilities with study.
