Want to build a standout art portfolio? Join The Art School Chester’s weekly teen workshops to master observational drawing, shading, painting and composition in small studio groups. Develop your style, boost GCSE/A-Level submissions - all premium materials provided and DBS-checked tutors.

The Art School Chester runs weekly fine-art classes designed for creative teenagers. Small studio groups focus on building core skills - observational drawing, shading, painting techniques, perspective and composition - while helping students develop a personal style and a portfolio useful for GCSE and A-Level submissions.

Classes are term-based (example: a GCSE-ready 6-week term) with each session lasting approximately 1. 5 hours. All premium materials are supplied, classes are led by DBS-checked tutors, and students receive a certificate of achievement.

The programme also offers a recognised Arts Award pathway (Discover through Gold) with Trinity College London moderation and certification at higher levels.

Courses are suitable for beginners through to more advanced young artists. Students can join at the start of any term, progress through multiple terms to build a varied body of work, and choose payment options either in full or spread across terms for the Arts Award pathway.
