Apply NowReady to build real AI in Oxford this summer? Join a two-week, hands-on programme to code in Python, design and test ML models, visit industry, and boost your uni and career prospects with practical skills and ethical training.
The Oxford AI Summer Camp is a two-week pre-university programme held in Oxford for ambitious students aged 14-18. Running 2-15 August 2026, the course mixes classroom learning with hands-on projects and industry visits.
Scholars work in small groups to design, build, test and present AI models, and the programme emphasises practical Python skills, machine learning fundamentals, and ethical considerations in AI. Participants follow a structured 10-day schedule covering programming and data structures, machine learning theory and applications, deep learning, model testing and evaluation, and a final project presentation.
The camp includes pre-recorded lectures, seminars, group projects, individual reports, official transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. Successful completion awards the NCFE Level 3 Award in Higher Studies (worth 8 UCAS points).
OSP admits a selective cohort of approximately 100 global scholars. The published fee (£6,499) covers tuition, accommodation, meals and excursions. Applicants should apply via the online application page and will be asked to provide academic transcripts and a short personal statement.
Scholarships and financial aid are available; early applications are encouraged due to limited places.
