ASDA Retail Work Experience

Join ASDA’s virtual work experience programme and explore how a major retailer brings products from concept to shelf. The programme is designed to give students an insight into a wide range of careers across the business, including customer-facing roles, head office functions and warehouse operations.

Across eight modules, you will learn about ASDA’s history, culture and values before discovering how different teams contribute to the business. Topics include traders, enablers, movers and retailers, giving you a look at product development, customer insight, technology, finance, logistics, warehousing and frontline retail roles.

The programme also focuses on employability skills, with activities and quizzes built in to help you reflect on communication, teamwork, leadership and a positive attitude. You can complete the material at your own pace within the programme window, and live talks are available as recordings if you cannot attend in person.

On completion, you will receive a certificate.
