Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers high-quality work experience placements for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the NHS. Placements last three days and are planned and tailored around each applicant’s career aspirations, giving students a chance to experience life in a busy hospital environment and learn more about the wide range of roles involved in patient care and hospital services.

The Trust only offers placements in term time, with no places available during half terms or holidays. Applicants must be over 17 and should make sure they can travel to and from the hospital sites before applying.

In addition, the Trust offers Insight Days for schools with students aged 16 and under, with space for up to 30 students and 5 teachers to visit the hospital and learn about different careers in an interactive way.
