Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Assistance and Complaints Apprentice for a 15-month fixed-term apprenticeship in the Assistance and Complaints Team. The apprentice will provide administrative support to complaints and Patient Advice and Liaison (PALS) services, including records retrieval and distribution, data input, monitoring and responding to emails, filing, photocopying, diary management and room booking.

The role requires high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion of tasks.

You will be supported to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration via a college provider. The apprenticeship includes 12 months of teaching (one tutor session a month) followed by a three-month end point assessment.

The role is full time: you will be expected in the office 4 days per week with 1 day per week study leave (to be agreed). Interviews will take place in December 2025 with a view to the post starting in January 2026.
