This Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship is a hands-on, work-based role where apprentices will carry out day-to-day accountancy tasks including bookkeeping, preparing Excel reports and handling customer and supplier invoices. The role is 30 hours per week, worked Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 18:00.
The apprenticeship start date is Tuesday 20 January 2026 and there are two positions available.
Apprentices will spend most of their time working on the job and will have protected time for off-the-job training. The training course is Assistant Accountant (Level 3) leading to an AAT Diploma in Accounting Level 3.

Course content includes double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, preparing financial information and using accounting software and spreadsheets.
