Curious how engineering shapes the world? Join AtkinsRéalis’ virtual work experience to explore engineering, design and project management, tackle real-world problems across transport, infrastructure, aerospace and sustainability, complete hands-on modules and quizzes, build practical skills and boost your uni and career prospects.

This virtual work experience programme from AtkinsRéalis introduces learners to engineering, design and project management, with a strong focus on how these areas come together to solve real-world problems. It explores the company’s work across consultancy, transportation, infrastructure, aerospace, technology and sustainability, giving participants a broad view of the kinds of careers and challenges involved.

The programme includes activities, quizzes and module-based learning that cover AtkinsRéalis’ history, consultancy skills, transport and infrastructure, energy and clean power, sustainability, company values and career pathways. Learners also hear from employees and industry experts through webinars and recorded talks, helping them understand what working in the sector is really like.

It is designed to be flexible and accessible online, with around 10 hours of content available over a two-week period. Participants can work through the material at their own pace, and successful completion leads to a certificate.

The programme is aimed at young people exploring early careers options and wanting to build skills for future study and work.
