Explore business themes from competition and finance to marketing and innovation through small classes and tutorial-style teaching at Oxford colleges. Shape learning around your group’s interests, tackle independent work and get detailed tutor feedback, then leave with a certificate and personalised recommendation letter.
Atlas Summer Courses’ Business and Entrepreneurship summer school is designed for ambitious 16-17-year-olds who want to explore how businesses start, grow and adapt in the modern world. Hosted at colleges of the University of Oxford, the programme uses small classes and tutorial-style teaching to create an engaging, highly personal learning environment.
Students study core themes such as competition, globalisation, macroeconomics, the marketing mix, strategy, finance and innovation. Teaching is tailored to the interests of the group rather than following a fixed curriculum, and learners also take part in tutorial sessions, an academic skills masterclass, expert speaker talks, a university fair and cultural activities in Oxford.
The course emphasises independent thinking, collaboration and practical problem-solving. Students complete independent work, receive detailed tutor feedback, and leave with a certificate and a personalised letter of recommendation, alongside a stronger understanding of business, entrepreneurship and future academic pathways.
