Explore AI and machine learning in Cambridge college seminars and tutorials with no more than 10 students. Tackle ethical questions and AI’s impact on healthcare, develop practical ideas, and get personalised tutor feedback - plus a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation.
Atlas Summer Courses’ Artificial Intelligence summer school is designed for ambitious 16-17-year-olds who want to explore one of the fastest-evolving areas of technology in an academically demanding setting. Hosted at colleges of the University of Cambridge, the course focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, ethical questions around new technologies, and how AI is changing industries such as healthcare and beyond.
Students also develop practical ideas and communicate their thinking clearly to others, with the content tailored to the interests and abilities of the group.
Teaching is delivered in small seminars and tutorials, with classes of up to 10 students and personalised feedback from expert tutors. Learners complete independent work, take part in critical thinking and reflection sessions, and are encouraged to build confidence, analytical skills and academic independence.
Students also receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation at the end of the course, alongside a wider Cambridge summer experience that includes cultural excursions and college-style living.
