Study coding, software and AI in Oxford in classes of up to 10, with tutors shaping lessons around the group. Build skills through hands-on projects, group challenges and workshops, then earn a certificate on completion.
Atlas Summer Courses’ Computer Science summer school in Oxford is designed for ambitious 13-15-year-olds who want to explore coding, software and AI in a small-group academic setting. Learners study in classes of up to 10 students, with experienced tutors tailoring lessons to the interests and needs of the group rather than following a fixed curriculum.
The course covers programming languages, debugging, problem-solving, software development principles and user interface design. Students also take part in practical, hands-on projects, group challenges, seminars and workshops, building both technical knowledge and creative confidence while learning how computer science shapes the digital world.
Alongside the academic content, the programme includes a masterclass on teamwork and collaboration plus a reflection session to help students review their progress. The Oxford setting, on-campus teaching and optional accommodation packages create an immersive summer-school experience, and students receive a certificate on completion.
