In small groups of 8-10 at University of Oxford colleges, explore leadership theories and how to lead with empathy, purpose and vision. Interactive lessons, independent research and a teamwork masterclass help you practise communication and collaboration, with time to reflect on your goals and progress.
Atlas Summer Courses’ Leadership summer school is designed for ambitious 13-15-year-olds who want to build confidence, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Hosted at University of Oxford colleges, the programme explores leadership theories, the challenges leaders face, and how to lead with empathy, purpose, and a clear vision.
Teaching is delivered in small groups, typically 8-10 students, with interactive lessons, group work, independent research, and homework discussed in class. Tutors tailor the course to the interests of the group, so students can explore ideas in a way that feels relevant and engaging.
The course also includes a masterclass on teamwork and collaboration, plus time for reflection on personal goals and progress.
Alongside the academic content, students benefit from structured social time, pastoral support, and a wider Oxford experience. The programme is intended to help young people strengthen their self-belief, develop practical leadership skills, and learn how to bring out the best in themselves and others.
