Study anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical ethics in small seminars at Oxford colleges, then apply your learning to real-life case studies. Interactive workshops, subject-linked excursions and a teamwork masterclass round out the programme, and you’ll finish with a certificate of completion.

Atlas Summer Courses’ Medicine summer school in Oxford is designed for ambitious 13-15-year-olds who want to explore health science and medical topics in a small-group setting. Hosted at colleges of the University of Oxford, the programme brings students into an academic environment that combines expert teaching with an inspiring collegiate atmosphere.

Students study topics such as anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical ethics, and apply their learning to real-life case studies. The course also includes a masterclass on teamwork and collaboration, plus a reflection session to help students track their progress and goals.

Teaching is interactive and tailored to the interests of the group, with small seminars, directed study, workshops and subject-linked excursions.

Alongside the academic content, the programme includes structured social activities and supervised downtime. Accommodation and meal arrangements vary by package, with options ranging from non-residential attendance to fuller residential experiences.

Students complete the course with stronger scientific reasoning, clearer communication skills and a certificate of completion.
