Want to jump into finance without university debt? Join EY’s four-year Audit Apprenticeship Programme in Glasgow (Sept 2026). Build professional accountancy qualifications, work with AI-driven audit tools, gain real client experience and boost your career from day one.

EY's Audit Apprenticeship Programme is a four-year programme starting September 2026 based in the EY Glasgow office. The role exposes apprentices to a range of audit work across client portfolios, combining on-the-job experience with study towards a professional accountancy qualification.

Technology and AI are embedded in the audit approach to enable apprentices to focus on analysis, professional judgement and delivering insights to clients.

Apprentices will work in teams analysing financial and non-financial data, testing business controls and contributing to audit strategies. The role involves a mixture of hybrid working 2-89 travelling to client offices, working from the EY office and occasionally working from home.

Apprentices are supported through in-person courses, self-study and exams as they progress towards ICAEW (England) or ICAS (Scotland) professional qualifications.

Key programme facts: four-year programme length, competitive salary, and a professional qualification on completion. The Level 7 Apprenticeship option (equivalent to a master's degree) is noted as applicable only to individuals joining an office in England.
