Ready to sharpen your audition pieces? Join LAMDA’s five‑day Monologue Bootcamp — work with experienced tutors on classical and contemporary text, perfect self‑taping, handle redirection and nerves, and perform a mock audition to boost your applications.

Deadline passed 20 days agoCLOSED THIS CYCLE

This intensive five-day monologue bootcamp at LAMDA is designed for anyone preparing audition pieces for drama schools or degree-level acting programmes. Over the week you will work with experienced LAMDA tutors on both classical and contemporary monologues, develop audition technique, and take part in a culminating mock audition.

Sessions include guidance on text selection and editing, handling redirection and nerves, and practical self-taping techniques for filmed audition pieces. Participants should arrive with choices of classical and contemporary monologues to work on; tutors will also teach how to select pieces that best showcase your skills.

The course is mixed level and cohorts will be grouped where possible by similar age/experience. It is particularly suited to those with some prior school, college or amateur theatre experience and requires approximately IELTS 6.

0 (B2) English or equivalent.
