Support autistic people and their families in a welcoming Crewe social space, choosing from roles in groups, holiday clubs, the community café, fundraising or digital support. Give as little as one hour, with full training and support provided, and get involved in gardening group support.
Autism Networks provides a safe, supportive social space in Crewe town centre for people of all ages affected by autism, as well as their families and carers. Volunteers help create a welcoming environment where service users can make friends, access support, build social skills, increase confidence and reduce isolation.
There are many ways to get involved, including administration, social media, website editing, fundraising, parent drop-in support, adult social group support, school holiday clubs, home schooling support, Saturday morning group, community café support and gardening group support. The opportunity is flexible and can suit people who can give as little as one hour or want a more regular commitment.
Full training and support are provided, and volunteers must complete the necessary pre-volunteer checks before starting.
