Autocare Technician Apprentice | Formula One Autocentres Ltd

Join the Formula One Autocentres team as an Autocare Technician Apprentice on a Level 2 apprenticeship, delivered by Skillnet Training Academy. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting inspections, and providing appropriate solutions while working alongside a workplace Line Manager and assigned mentor.

Assessments are conducted in the workplace by a dedicated Skills Coach.

Training is delivered using a blended learning approach with block release sessions at Skillnet's training academy in Daventry every 6-8 weeks (block training typically runs Mon-Wed or Mon-Thurs). Apprentices receive face-to-face visits from a Skills Coach during working hours and practical training using up-to-date diagnostic equipment.

All travel and hotel accommodation for training attendance are paid for by Formula One Autocentres.

On completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices are eligible for further commercial training and career progression opportunities, including EV training and pathways to roles such as site Mentor, Manager, or Senior Technician. Apprentices are encouraged (but not required) to be learning to drive or to gain a full UK driving licence to support some duties.
