BAE Systems Engineering Work Experience Placement - Glascoed (6-9 July 2026)

BAE Systems is offering a four-day Engineering Work Experience Placement at its Maritime and Land Defence Solutions site in Glascoed from 6 to 9 July 2026. Participants will gain real-world experience working alongside BAE Systems engineers, attend facility tours to see products and projects, and learn about the company’s early careers programmes.

The placement is delivered by experienced colleagues and supported by current Apprentices. During the placement students will actively take part in practical fabrication, electrical and mechanical sessions, contribute to a group presentation project relevant to BAE Systems’ work, and participate in ice-breakers and team-building activities.

There will be opportunities to hear from engineers across the business and to explore the site’s manufacturing and munitions capabilities. On successful completion participants will gain a Silver Industrial Cadets Award.
