BAE Systems' week-long work experience at RAF Lossiemouth (15-19 June 2026) gives students aged 16-18 the chance to spend a week with engineering and business teams at RAF Lossiemouth. Participants will tour on-aircraft and off-aircraft facilities, attend presentations about the TyTAN contract, and learn how BAE Systems supports the Royal Air Force.
During the programme students take part in practical and career-focused activities including tours, networking with staff, quizzes, mock interviews and team-building exercises. The placement is aimed specifically at Year 12 and Year 13 students and is designed to provide insight into engineering and business roles within a live defence/aircraft-support environment.
Applications typically close approximately eight weeks before the programme start date (see application_deadline_info). Applicants are advised to apply as early as possible because places may fill or the closing date may be brought forward.
