Balbirnie Wildflower Wellness Youth Group is a free, inclusive series of outdoor wellbeing and nature-care sessions for young people aged 14-24 run by Balbirnie’s Future Foundation. Participants will take part in wildflower planting and other park-care activities, alongside nature-connection and wellbeing activities such as arts and crafts, board games and relaxed group time.
Snacks and refreshments are provided. Sessions aim to give positive outdoor experiences, help young people make friends, build confidence and improve wellbeing while contributing to local biodiversity.
The programme is community- and conservation-focused: participants will help create and care for a wildflower meadow and leave a lasting environmental legacy for local greenspace. Sessions meet at the Grass Meadow nearest the allotments in Balbirnie Park (What3Words: ///gives.
