Bar and Waiting Apprentice - Ember Inns (Mitchells & Butlers)

Join Ember Inns as a Bar and Waiting Apprentice with Mitchells & Butlers and learn on the job in a busy pub environment. Most of the apprenticeship is workplace-based: you will greet and serve guests, learn the drink and food menus, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, take payments, and help create a friendly atmosphere that encourages customers to return.

You will work 30 paid hours per week on shift patterns that include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The apprenticeship is delivered with LIFETIME TRAINING GROUP LIMITED and includes a mix of on- and off-the-job training (workshops, webinars and regular review meetings), feedback sessions, and functional skills in English and maths if not already achieved.

On completion you will gain the Food and Beverage Team Member Level 2 qualification.

Wage guidance is provided on the vacancy (16-20-year-olds: £10/hr; 21+: £12.21/hr). The role is based at the Green Man, High Street, B17 9NE, Birmingham. Start date is listed as 1 December 2025 and the vacancy may close early if a suitable candidate is found.
