Bar and Waiting Apprenticeship - Miller & Carter York

Join Miller & Carter as a Bar and Waiting Apprentice based at the Miller & Carter York site (22 Lendal, YO1 8AA). This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with off-the-job learning delivered by Lifetime Training Group Limited and leads to a Level 2 Food and Beverage Team Member qualification.

You will be part of the front-of-house team, serving guests, recommending menu items and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role is predominantly practical and workplace-based with regular training check-ins every 4-6 weeks and reviews every 12 weeks. The programme includes workshops, webinars, and functional skills in English and maths if not already held, and covers service, customer communication, food safety and health & safety.

Typical working hours are 30 hours per week and the apprenticeship runs for approximately 15 months (listed as 1 year 3 months).
