Fancy kickstarting your hospitality career? Join Mitchells & Butlers’ 15-month Bar & Waiting Apprenticeship at The Pine Marten-learn front-of-house skills, serve real customers, earn while you train and build experience for uni or work.

This is a full-time Bar and Waiting apprenticeship with Mitchells & Butlers based at the Pine Marten in Harrogate (HG3 1UE). As an apprentice you will learn front-of-house hospitality skills: greeting and serving guests, maintaining cleanliness and safety, knowing menus and drink offerings, and delivering friendly service.

You will be part of the team operating Premium Country Pubs and develop customer-service and practical hospitality experience.

The programme runs for 15 months and combines on-the-job training with off-the-job learning, workshops and webinars. Apprentices receive regular reviews every 12 weeks with their line manager and trainer, and catch-ups every 4-6 weeks.

Apprentices without GCSEs will work towards Functional Skills in English and Maths as part of the course. Typical working hours include 30 paid hours per week.

Pay is advertised as £300. 00-£366. 30 per week, with hourly rates specified as £10.

00 per hour for 16-20 year olds and £12. 21 per hour for those 21 and over. Staff benefits include a 33% dining discount across brands, funded qualifications up to degree level, pension, paid holiday and other employee discounts.
