Bath Academy Junior Summer School

Bath Academy Junior Summer School is an in-person English language programme for teenagers based at Bath Academy's city-centre campus in Bath. Lessons focus on practical English and communication skills across speaking, listening, reading and writing, with small classes (maximum 13 students) to maximise speaking time.

A placement test on arrival and interview help ensure students join the appropriate level (Beginner A1 to Advanced C1/C2).

The programme runs as 1-week or 2-week options and includes a full activity and excursions programme: daily activities, midweek half-day and a full-day weekend excursion (examples include visits to London and Oxford for the 2-week programme). Accommodation options include residential boarding and homestay; the campus provides 24/7 supervision and student packs and all learning materials are provided.

Students receive a progress report and an end-of-course certificate. The Junior Summer School is designed to combine language learning with cultural and social experiences in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath.
