This in-person evening event from BCS Aberdeen explores the human skills that remain essential as AI reshapes work. Through a keynote, panel discussion, a student hackathon showcase and short interactive exercises, the session highlights five enduring skills: Curiosity, Collaboration, Resilience, Communication and Learning Agility.
The programme features a keynote from Professor John Barrow, a 3-minute student Hackathon showcase, and a panel bringing together industry, early-career and student voices. Attendees will take part in short practical activities and have dedicated networking time to connect with peers and local tech professionals.
Light refreshments will be provided. The event is aimed at students, early-career professionals, educators and practitioners preparing for the future of work. Spaces are free but limited; attendees are asked to register via Eventbrite.
The organiser notes events are for adults aged 16 years and over and the meeting is run in accordance with the BCS Code of Conduct for Meetings.
