Ben Creighton Griffiths Trio Jazz Guitar Workshop with Joseph Van Parys

This in-person jazz guitar workshop is led by Joseph Van Parys and presented by the Ben Creighton Griffiths Trio. It offers participants the chance to explore the world of swing jazz and bebop on the guitar, with guidance from an experienced player in a workshop setting.

Attendees will learn about key jazz techniques and musical concepts, including improvisation, comping and voice leading. Support is also provided by bassist Benedict Stephens from the band, helping create a collaborative and practical learning environment.

The session is suitable for all ages and abilities, and previous experience in jazz or improvisation is helpful but not required. It is open to acoustic and electric guitar players, and anyone who plays another instrument can contact the organisers to discuss taking part.

Workshop tickets also include entry to the evening concert in the Town Hall.
