Get hands-on with conservation at an outdoor wildlife club where you survey species and learn to use tools and bushcraft. Explore insects, birds, mammals, plants and the natural world through practical seasonal activities at Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre near Maidenhead.

Teen Rangers is a wildlife club for young people who want to get hands-on with conservation, wildlife learning and time outdoors. The sessions are designed for teens aged 11-17 and focus on animals, plants and the natural world through practical, seasonal activities.

Participants can expect to learn about wildlife including insects, birds, mammals and plants, while also developing skills in conservation, surveying species and using tools and bushcraft. The club is based at Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre on the outskirts of Maidenhead, with activities taking place outdoors throughout each session.

Sessions run over the autumn and last for two hours each. Participants should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring waterproofs or sun protection as needed, along with a bottle of water. Newcomers must also return a parental consent form, and only booked children may attend.
