Best Parents - Chemistry for Teens at Cambridge University

This two-week, in-person summer programme run by Best Parents places students aged 13-15 into an academic Cambridge environment focused on chemistry. The course covers physical, organic and inorganic chemistry topics (rates of reaction, changes of state, surface tension, periodic table) and emphasises hands-on experiments, practical application and problem-solving.

Small-group seminars and tailored tutoring help match the programme to students' interests.

Students benefit from a structured daily timetable (for day students: drop-off 8:30-9:00, activities through to 16:30-17:00 and pick-up 18:30-19:00) with morning lessons, directed study and 21st Century Skills masterclasses. Residential participants stay in Cambridge colleges (Fitzwilliam, Murray Edwards, Gonville & Caius) with full-board catering and pastoral support.

The programme includes excursions, city tours and enrichment activities to broaden cultural and academic experience.

On successful completion students receive a certificate of achievement, detailed tutor feedback and a personalised letter of recommendation. Airport transfers from Heathrow on official arrival/departure days are included; families are advised to book flights arriving before 15:00 on those days.
