Best Parents: Engineering, Design & Sustainability (University of Bath) - Teens Summer Program 2026

This two-week on-campus summer programme (run by Best Parents at the University of Bath) is designed for teenagers aged 14-18 interested in engineering, design and sustainability. Students explore fundamentals of engineering and design thinking through hands-on, project-based learning focused on green innovation, smart technologies and systems design.

The course emphasises prototyping, collaboration and sustainable problem solving so participants can test and scale ideas.

Academic sessions are delivered in small groups with practical workshops, masterclasses and guest speakers. Extracurricular activities include evening socials, excursions across the UK and opportunities to engage with peers from around the world.

The programme aims to build confidence in leadership, design and innovation while helping students clarify future steps.

Accommodation is premium on-campus university halls with en-suite rooms; all meals, local excursions and 24/7 pastoral support are included. Students leave with an end-of-course graduation and completion certificate.
