This is an immersive two-week residential summer programme at Tonbridge School led by Best Parents that introduces students to design, engineering, sustainability and leadership through hands-on, project-led learning. Students work in small mixed teams through the full design cycle - from identifying problems and ideation to prototyping, testing and presenting solutions - culminating in a Hackathon-style final challenge.
The programme combines digital tools, physical modelling, sustainable design principles and mentoring from visiting professionals, with university and business visits (Oxford or Cambridge) and a business experience day. The offer includes on-site accommodation options (single, twin and shared rooms) with dedicated pastoral care, Gatwick airport transfers (09:00-17:00 transfer window on designated days), three meals daily, supervised social activities and a final awards ceremony.
Participants receive a certificate of participation and a personalised academic report on completion.
