This two-week summer programme, hosted on the University of Oxford campus and organised by Best Parents, introduces teenagers to English literature and creative writing through small-group seminars, masterclasses and guided creative work. Students (aged 13-15) study classic and contemporary texts, practise fiction and poetry writing, and develop critical analysis and storytelling skills.
Classes are capped at very small sizes (typically no more than eight students) to provide personalised tutor attention, complemented by directed study sessions and skills workshops. The course includes supervised excursions (examples include the British Museum, Warwick Castle, Ashmolean Museum and city tours), a programme of enrichment activities and optional evening social events.
Both day (non-residential) and multiple boarding tiers are offered, with full-board meals for residential participants and staffed support throughout the stay. All participants receive a certificate of achievement, written tutor feedback and a personalised Letter of Recommendation.
Heathrow transfer service on official arrival/departure days is included in the programme price.
