Join the 24-week Best Parents Virtual Medical Observership 2026 programme - live clinician-led sessions, case observations, debriefs and guided reflection to build concrete personal-statement and MMI examples and boost your med-school readiness.
Best Parents' Virtual Medical Observership 2026 is a clinician-led online programme giving school-age aspiring medics sustained, structured exposure to real clinical practice. Sessions are delivered live by NHS doctors and combine real-time observation of clinical cases, debriefs with clinicians, and guided reflection designed to produce concrete examples for personal statements and MMI interviews.
The programme runs across a 24-week cohort (January 2026 cohort listed) with two live online sessions per month. Sessions take place on Sundays, 1:00:00 pm (UK time), and include live Q&A and opportunities to turn observations into reflective evidence of teamwork, confidentiality, resilience and professional behaviours.
Students gain clinical literacy, a bank of interview-ready cases, and experience of NHS pathways and professional communication. The programme is aimed at high-school students (13 21 years old) preparing for medicine, including those awaiting interviews, applying to university, or seeking familiarity with NHS practice.
Bookings are made via the Best Parents website.
