Bevan Brittan's Solicitor Apprenticeship is a work-based route to qualifying as a solicitor while you gain hands-on legal experience. Apprentices work on real legal tasks alongside experienced lawyers, developing practical skills such as drafting correspondence and contracts, conducting legal research, collating bundles and attending hearings or conferences where appropriate.

The programme requires study alongside work: apprentices will collect a portfolio of evidence for assessment and spend one day each week studying for examinations. Exact responsibilities vary by department but include drafting letters of instruction, assisting supervisors with case files, attending departmental training and supporting client-facing work.

Bevan Brittan seeks strong academic performance (ABB at A-level and A*-C at GCSE or equivalent), enthusiasm, attention to detail and a collegiate approach. This vacancy is only recruiting into the firm's Bristol, Birmingham and Leeds offices. Applicants do not need to have studied A-level law.
