Black Females in Architecture (BFA), in partnership with ROCA London Gallery, is hosting a CV & Portfolio Workshop as part of its BFA Mentoring Programme 2026. The evening is designed to support students, graduates and early-career professionals in strengthening job applications and understanding employer expectations within architecture and the built environment.
Presentations from professional women in the field will share career journeys and practical lessons about routes through architectural education and practice. After the talks, attendees will break into small groups for CV and portfolio review sessions where participants can receive constructive, direct feedback from experienced reviewers.
The sessions are informal and practical, intended to help attendees identify ways to improve how they present their work and experience. There will also be opportunities for networking with members of the construction community to build connections and learn about different career pathways.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a printed CV and portfolio or a digital copy on a laptop/tablet to make the most of the review sessions. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
