BHF Charity Shop Sales Floor Volunteer in Bulwell, Nottingham

This volunteering role places you on the sales floor of a charity shop in Bulwell, Nottingham, where you will be one of the first points of contact for customers. The work is customer-facing and includes greeting visitors, helping them find items, and answering questions with support from the shop team.

Day-to-day tasks can also include managing deliveries, labelling stock, rotating shop items, dressing mannequins, promoting in-store campaigns and sales, and helping create attractive window and shop displays. You will also help keep the shop tidy, clean, and well organised, and support fellow volunteers and staff with customer queries.

The placement is described as 40 working hours, with hours listed as 9. 30am to 4. 30pm Monday to Friday.

Weekend work can be agreed in advance, and part-time hours are also possible by arrangement. The opportunity is specifically for volunteers over 17 years old and is linked to a charity shop supporting BHF.
